Creating a therapeutic space that feels safe, welcoming, and flexible.
My journey from growing up in Germany to living in different countries and eventually making Canada my home has deeply shaped my understanding of development, identity, and the vital need for a supportive community. I bring this perspective, along with years of experience working with children, youth, and young adults, into my counselling practice. My work is grounded in a strong academic foundation, holding both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Health and Social Psychology from Maastricht University.
Before focusing on counselling, I spent over seven years working in psychological assessment, including psychoeducational, ADHD, autism, and social-emotional evaluations. This background provides me with a nuanced lens for understanding how anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and learning differences can show up in everyday life, whether at school, at home, in relationships, and within ourselves.

In the therapy room, my goal is to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and flexible; one where clients feel seen as whole people, not problems to be fixed. Recognizing that “just talking” isn’t always enough, our sessions may include drawing, movement, games, toys, creative activities, or gentle body-based check-ins. I work primarily with individuals ranging from age six to young adulthood and warmly welcome neurodivergent clients.
My approach is collaborative and relational; we go at the individual’s pace, ensuring they are always an active part of shaping the work. I currently draw from emotion-focused, attachment-based, solution-focused, and somatic perspectives, and continue to thoughtfully explore and integrate approaches that support nervous system regulation, self-understanding, and meaningful change. At this time, I offer individual counselling, with parent consultations when working with children. I deeply value collaboration and believe that support works best when we don’t have to navigate it alone.
