My approach to working with clients is grounded in collaboration, authenticity, warmth, and finding humour where and when we can.
I feel lucky to have had academic, clinical, and research opportunities that have allowed me to grow as a doctoral student and inform how I approach both assessment and therapy!
I’m currently in the process of completing my Doctor of Clinical Psychology training at Adler University in Vancouver, B.C. I previously earned my Honours Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Psychology from the University of Toronto.
During my undergraduate degree, I worked as a research assistant at the Toronto Early Cognitions Lab, exploring how young children learn and develop cognitively. I later worked at Sunnybrook Research Institute on clinical trials focused on treatment outcomes for anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). These early experiences in research helped provide a strong knowledge base for understanding what underlies cognitive and psychological processes, knowledge that has helped me both to explain concepts clearly to clients and to understand their experiences on a deeper level.
More recently, I completed a year-long practicum in psychological assessment, conducting comprehensive psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational evaluations for adolescents and adults. I have also recently received training in conducting assessments for autism spectrum disorder. I’m passionate about comprehensive assessments and have seen firsthand how supportive, accurate assessments can provide clarity, validation, and meaningful insight to guide treatment planning, educational supports, and personal well-being. I aim to highlight strengths, in addition to potential areas of difficulty, to support a well-rounded and compassionate understanding of each person I work with.

My approach to working with clients is grounded in collaboration, authenticity, warmth, and finding humour where and when we can. I aim to use an integrative approach and utilize evidence-based treatment, primarily cognitive-behavioural frameworks. I am eager to continue developing skills in adapting evidence-based approaches to align with each client’s individual needs, values, and goals.
I am looking forward to working alongside children, adolescents, and families, as well as adults navigating a wide range of mental health concerns and/or relational, developmental, or life-stage transitions. I am especially interested in connecting with those experiencing difficulties in their relationships, such as with family, friends, colleagues, or romantic partners.
My dissertation research focuses on understanding how attachment style interacts with mental health symptom presentation and severity, as well as relationship satisfaction in adulthood.
Outside the world of psychology, I have worked with children and families for over fifteen years in various capacities, including teaching swimming, sailing, outdoor school, and theatre camps, as well as nannying. I truly enjoy connecting with families and have felt honoured to be trusted to help.
When I’m not working, studying, or in class, I like to spend time outdoors, go out for dinner with friends, try to finish my book club books, and watch bad reality T.V.
