Your story matters. How do you want to tell your next chapter?
Being a part of clients’ journeys toward healing and growth is a privilege. As a psychologist-in-training, I am deeply committed to fostering mental wellness and resilience for individuals of all backgrounds. I am a passionate advocate and ally, and I celebrate the richness of diversity in gender, ability, and culture. I am dedicated to creating communities where all people are not just accepted, but truly appreciated and celebrated for who they are.
My practice draws on humanistic foundations and integrates warmth, humour, and authenticity. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including narrative, acceptance and commitment, cognitive-behavioural, and dialectal-behavioural. I take a collaborative approach to both assessments and therapy. With my knowledge and training in psychology paired with your expertise of your own lived experiences, we can work together to ensure a treatment plan that aligns with you.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients from Indigenous, newcomer, disability, and LGBTQ+ communities. I have extensive experience supporting children, youth, and young adults who have experienced trauma and resulting mental health challenges. I hold a special place in my heart for helping families navigate life transitions, especially those with neurodiverse children.

In addition to therapy, I am trained in conducting comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and areas of challenge in cognitive abilities, socio-emotional functioning, and education. These assessments can take various forms depending on the client’s goals, but always provides evidence-based guidance and next steps.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to live a safe and fulfilling life, and I am committed to supporting you on your journey toward mental wellness. If you or a family member are ready to take the next step, please reach out and schedule an appointment. Together, we can embark on a path toward healing, growth, and resilience.

About Emilie
I hold a master’s degree in clinical psychology and am currently completing my Ph.D. training to become a psychologist at the University of Victoria.
As the sibling of a sister with autism, I have an intimate understanding of both the beauty and challenges that accompany neurodiversity. This personal experience has driven my passion for supporting families as they navigate their unique journeys. Additionally, as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I am deeply committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where everyone feels heard, respected, and valued.
Beyond my work, I enjoy reading celebrity memoirs, tending to my garden, tackling household projects, and spending time with my pets!
